The Family Resource Group Foundation and Kid Scoop News recently partnered with the City of Baton Rouge and Baton Rouge Advancing Health Literacy for a coloring contest . The contest invited children from kindergarten to fifth grade to showcase their creativity through coloring a page centered around health and wellness. Recognizing the importance of nurturing young talent, Gordon McKernan Injury Attorneys, under its charity arm, Gordon Gives , provided five bikes for each of the first place winners of the coloring contest. Additionally, McKernan’s team personally attended the prize presentation ceremony to reinforce the message that the community values and recognizes the efforts of its youth.
