Symposium: “The State of Minority Health Post COVID-19” (July 21-22, 2023)

On July 21 and July 22, 2023, the Mayor’s Office, via its Baton Rouge Advancing Health Literacy initiative, will present a Symposium entitled “The State of Minority Health Post COVID-19”.  

The purpose of this event is to convene medical personnel, particularly persons of color, heath care advocates and practitioners as well as members of the community who represent marginalized communities to discuss and develop future approaches to address health literacy within vulnerable communities. 

This event will be held at the BREC Administrative Building on Florida Boulevard.
